The YES Subcommittee will hear updates from its Information, Education, and Outreach Subcommittee, and from the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team. The YES Subcommittee will also hear an update from the working group that considered feedback to the 11/15/23 draft revision of Chapter 2 of the Conservation Strategy that incorporates the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team’s adoption of the integration population model for population estimation in the GYE, discuss next steps for that document, and hear a report from the Board of Review on a mortality that occurred in 2023 in Montana. This is a public meeting and there will be time for public comments and suggestions. There is an opportunity for the public to join remotely. Documents shared during, and after the meeting will be posted on the Yellowstone Ecosystem Subcommittee page on the IGBC website.
