MISSOULA – The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) will be holding their annual winter meeting in Missoula, Montana from December 12, 2017 – December 13, 2017.

The meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn Downtown, located at 200 S Pattee St. The initial session on the 12th will begin at 9:00 AM, after an executive session that is closed to the public. The meeting on the 13th will begin at 8:00 AM. Each of the grizzly bear recovery ecosystem chairs will be reporting on their accomplishments over the past year, as well as discussing plans for the upcoming year.

The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee was created in 1983 to lead the effort to recover the grizzly bear in the lower 48 states. The public is invited to attend and a public comment period will be provided at the end of each day.
